SINOSURE’s 2024 Annual Work Conference Held in Beijing

　　From January 25 to 26, SINOSURE’s 2024 Annual Work Conference was held in Beijing. The conference was tasked to review the work in 2023, evaluate the current situation and lay out the work in 2024. Chairman Song Shuguang addressed the conference hosted by Chief Supervisor Tang Zhigang, and President Sheng Hetai delivered the annual work report.

　　It was noted at the meeting that the total insured amount in 2023 reached USD 928.61 billion, a y-o-y growth of 3.2%. SINOSURE achieved stable progress in business, with risks controllable and financial conditions sound. Its policy functions were actively fulfilled, reforms promoted, and risks well managed.

　　In his speech, Chairman Song emphasized the overall requirements for the work in 2024: 

　　Aiming for being a world-class policy-oriented export credit insurance institution, SINOSURE should pursue  high-quality development, serve the open economy and continuously deepen reforms. The approach will prioritize stability alongside progress. The policy functions should be strengthened, particularly in areas of science-and-technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance and digital finance, while development and security aspects be effectively coordinated, with risk forestalling as key considerations. The commitment to the path of export credit insurance with Chinese characteristics remains unwavering.
